    COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY REGULAR BOARD MEETING Mayor’s Conference Room December 13, 2016 MINUTES A regular meeting of the Community Development Agency Board of Directors was held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 3:30 PM in the Mayor’s conference room at City Hall. Those in attendance: Ron Briggs, Janette Ryder, Steve Kirk, Nick Zabawsky, and Rachel Frasier. Excused Absence: Mayor Dayton King and Karen Smith. A motion was made by Ron Briggs to approve the November minutes and seconded by Janette Ryder. All in favor. The rehab status report was presented for the month of November. Two jobs are under construction and are close to completion. Two jobs will be going out to bid within the next couple of weeks. A discussion was held about the HOME program. Nick advised the board that HUD has a lot of new guidelines and it is taking many hours of paperwork that is needed to submit for projects. Ron asked about the possibility of having the Congresswoman Stefanik attend the January meeting to discuss our concerns about the HOME requirements.     COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY REGULAR BOARD MEETING Mayor’s Conference Room January 14, 2014 MINUTES A regular meeting of the Community Development Agency Board of Directors was held Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 3:30 PM in the Mayor’s conference room at City Hall. Those in attendance: Steven Kirk, Ron Briggs, Mayor Dayton King, Jean Chain, Karen Smith, Nick Zabawsky and Rachel Frasier.  A motion was made by Ron Briggs and seconded by Mayor Dayton King to accept the minutes from the previous meeting. All in favor.  The rehab status report was presented. One housing project was completed in December. One housing project is under construction. Three jobs will be going out to bid this week. It was suggested by Ron Briggs that Nick Zabawsky provide a powerpoint presentation on the housing rehab program for the benefit of the new Board members at the next meeting. All were in agreement.  The CDA program income report was presented for the month of December 2013. The account balance was $34,750.60 at the end of December 2013. The account balance was $112,311.33 at the end of June 2010. The increase was due primarily to the recapture of old grants to homeowners who sold their properties prior to expiration liens.
