    Labor Day Garbage Change

    The Department of Public Works will be closed Monday, September 2nd for Labor Day. Monday’s garbage will be collected on Tuesday and Tuesday’s garbage will be collected on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will be collected without change. There won’t be any bulk pickups in Ward 5 on Wednesday September 4th. Bulk pickups will begin on Wednesday, September 11th. There will be a free bulk drop-off located behind the Transit facility on West Fulton Street on September 14th and 15th. The hours on the 14th will be from 8 am until 3 pm, and on the 15th from 8 am until noon. Residents are permitted to bring 3 loads per weekend. Proof of residency will be required.
