    Here's a look at what were likely the first group of non-volunteer Gloversville Firefighters as seen outside a once Gloversville City Hall on N. Main Street. City Hall would eventually be remodeled to accommodate the later use of horses and wagons. The first non-volunteer Gloversville Fire Department was organized shortly after 1892 according to records.
